Abstract

Faced with the limitations of traditional education focused on memorization and ill-suited to 21st-century demands, there is a growing need for methodologies that foster higher-order thinking skills and student autonomy. In response, the ABSIA methodology (Solution-Based Learning through Artificial Intelligence) is proposed, integrating generative AI tools within a constructivist and active learning framework. Structured in five stages: problem exploration, solution strategy, AI-assisted construction, critical evaluation, and optimization, this approach enables students to analyze, build, and validate solutions in a reflective and critical manner. ABSIA does not aim to replace human thinking but to enhance it, promoting ethical and conscious interaction with technology to achieve deep, meaningful, and contextualized learning.
